Elana Stein Joins Sulam as Director of Marketing and Communications

Elana brings close to two decades of marketing, communications, customer service, and public relations experience to Sulam.

Most recently, Elana was the Director of Admissions for Berman Hebrew Academy where she collaborated with Sulam administrators on a number of occasions, standardized admissions, recruitment, and retention processes, and worked to broaden and strengthen the community by focusing on relationships with students, current parents, and prospective parents.

Elana’s involvement in the marketing field includes time spent working for HarperCollins Publishers, CLS Strategies, the Washington Jewish Week, and as a small business owner, establishing and growing Little Shakers Music Together, offering music classes for young children.

Elana holds a B.A. in English with a concentration in Creative Writing from the University of Maryland, College Park. She and her husband, Josh, live in Kemp Mill with their two children, Isabelle and Judah, and their dog, Jensen.
